Sharks Themed Knitted Scarf

I have the utmost respect for anyone that can knit well AND knit fast. Because my knitting skills are disastrous, I thought I'd practice by making a scarf for my friend, Jon L., who is a huge San Jose Sharks fan (hence the teal, white, and black yarn). I started this project right after Christmas only to finish it a month and a half later. While I am pleased with the results, I think I will stick with crocheting and attempt knitting again.... not sure when. =)

Baby Shower Gift Wrapping

Finally - a present for someone I know. My dear friend, Jen, is expecting a little boy. This is Jess' gift for her Jen's baby shower.

Dr. Seuss Themed Fleece Gift Bags

For six months, I've been holding on to a set of Dr. Seuss button pins - hoping I could use them for Jen's baby shower present. When she finally set up her shower registry, I had a hard time figuring out how to incorporate the pins in with her present.

J&J Baby Shower

Not only was I invited to celebrate Jen's (and Jon G's) soon-to-be addition at the baby shower, I also got to help plan it out. Unfortunately, I was a little pressed for time and couldn't make everything I had envisioned.

Thanks to Diddams and Michael's - I was able to buy most of the supplies and spend the rest of my time adding personal touches.

Baby Shower Gift Wrapping

Jess happens to have a lot of pregnant friends. An increase in expectant mothers means more opportunities for me to wrap presents. I have some sparkly tulle laying around that I've been wanting to use, and what better occasion to bust it out for than a baby shower.

As for the present itself, Jess bought the same set of books as last time. Why change a good thing?
